My students are bright and inquisitive children who are eager to learn and share new experiences. For many of them, this is the first time they are in a structured learning program with other children their own age.
I want to give them multiple opportunities to reinforce new skills.
I want to eliminate the need for making large amounts of copies. I hope to give them a strong foundation for them to build future skills. My goal is to provide them with a love of learning for a lifetime and success.
My Project
For my Kindergarten students reading is a new experience this year. It is my goal to give them a system to organize all the books and reading supplies they will need to be successful, which is why we need book bins and paper trays.
Learning to read is exciting and as a teacher I have observed that organization for children is a vital part of their success.
Having materials that are easily accessible for the students makes the classroom function better. Also, the more they can be independent in their learning the better prepared they will be moving forward.
I strongly believe that setting an example of strong organizational systems will benefit them in the future.
