This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year I get to spend my days with the best bunch of kindergarteners. Each June they must leave our classroom and head to first grade. I am so excited for them to get ready for first grade.

I would like to give my little geniuses a special gift for the kindergarten graduation.

These are books that they can read and help them get ready for their big first day as a first grader.

My kiddos have worked so hard this year. They have learned to read simple books and write some really great stories. I would love to continue the gift of reading throughout the summer. I know they will love this book about getting ready for first grade.
