This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The school environment is a fundamental factor in the development and well-being of students. It encompasses the physical, emotional, and social aspects of the school setting. It is their home away from home.
With the materials, I would be able to create and provide a beautiful and comfortable kindergarten classroom for my students.
A rug is essential for any classroom as it is the meeting area where learning and discussions take place. The bulletin board, borders, and garland will create an inviting, warm, and happy environment for my students. My new kindergartners are eager little learners who come to school excited about learning every day and they deserve a well-organized and visually stimulating classroom.
It is my hope that this learning environment will foster academic achievement, nurture my students’ social and emotional growth, and create a safe and supportive space for them to explore and learn.
