This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love numerous things about my students. They each possess different strengths and talents. I love the diverse range of skills and abilities that they each bring to our classroom.
To be able to foster a positive and supportive environment where students feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential, I like to prioritize providing students with the necessary school supplies to have a successful academic year.
Therefore, being able to provide these necessary school supplies, will help them become successful. They need their notebooks daily to take notes as they are learning new strategies in Math. They also use erasers a great deal to correct mistakes, make adjustments, and edit their work, allowing them to learn from errors and improve their understanding. The privacy folders are also a great addition to the classroom. The privacy folders help reduce distractions so students can focus during test and quizzes. The small toys/fidgets are given to students as prizes. They earn prizes for accomplishing different things throughout the week. By having these necessary materials, students can complete assignments effectively and ultimately fostering a more conducive environment for learning.
