This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our K-6 students are a very diverse group! They range in age from 4-12 years old. We have two campuses using our gym and supplies at the same time. We need equal amounts of equipment so everyone can participate together. We want our campuses to unite and become a team during PE. We do not want to separate the groups.
All children deserve an excellent education!
We strive to provide this to all who walk through our doors. We LOVE our students!
My Project
Students will be able to participate in work out stations with this new equipment. At this time, we have limited equipment. Students are not able to experience different activities.
We want to give our students experience with all available equipment, so they can find one that is challenging.
It will give us the opportunity to have all of our students participate together (about 70 students per class!). It will provide our students smaller group sizes so they have more opportunity to participate. It will give our students more choice during our stations, keeping up students' interest.
It gives our students a chance to "get sweaty" in the gym.
