My Students
My school is the best place in the world. It is a magical school where kids learn amazing things about the world around them. They develop creativity and enhance their imagination. They become more independent, while still aiming to please! Our students are inspired by the world around them.
Our faculty instills the love of reading through many fun ways!
We are a Title I school, but we work hard to excel. All teachers work hard to provide the best-individualized education for all students. Our school is made up of students who are eager to learn about everything.
My Project
Each Monday morning, my first graders get to choose new books for their reading bags from our classroom library. We have hundreds of books (and counting) for them to select to bring home to reinforce and instill the love of reading.
My students love the independence of choosing their own reading books, and having their own reading bag!
This grant will provide new reading bags for all of my upcoming first graders, organization bins for our books, and also some higher level books for my readers who are ready for the challenge!
