Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The best way to learn in kindergarten is by having fun! What better way can my little geniuses learn their letters then by actually getting their hands on some. A tactile learner learns by touching and doing. They understand & remember things through physical movement. All kindergarteners are tactile learners.
In kindergarten learning is "hands-on" children prefer to touch, move, build, or draw what they learn, & they learn better with tactile activities.
I am requesting various center activities for my little geniuses such a the Lakeshore Magnetic Letter Building set. This is a hands on way to master the lines & curves of each letter. The Suwimut Montessori Sand Tray is a fun way practice letter formation. The Lakeshore Touch Letter center is great for my kiddos with that need a bit more attention to their sensory needs.
All these centers will enhance their developmental & fine motor skills.
