Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I currently spend my day with 30 preschoolers in an am and pm session. My students range in ages from 3-5 years old and half of my students have a variety of special needs from moderate to severe. My students have different opportunities to explore new materials that fit their learning styles best. My students are eager to learn new concepts and often this is their first experience in a preschool setting.

My Project

My school has closets that two classrooms share and it needs to be organized properly for easy access to materials needed. Many of these materials are piled up high which makes grabbing materials quickly a challenge.

Many of the materials that are used in our curriculum are stored in this closet from dramatic play materials, blocks and vehicles, small group materials, and many other things.

The shelving units that I am asking for will help me keep these materials organized for easy access. I have a short amount of time to get prepared for the next day or week and will save me a lot of time "hunting" for the right materials and sometimes even having to repurchase materials because I am unable to locate these materials with ease.
