This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students LOVE to read! They read all the free time they get! The problem is our books are not organized :( These reading tubs will enable us to organize our books and help our books last longer and not get torn up.

I teach a 3rd grade talented and gifted class at a Title 1 classroom in Florida.

My students do not have many books at home and many have never been to a public library. Some only have access to the library books in my classroom. For this reason, I keep a lot of books in my room for them to read!

My Project

These book storage bins would be a great way to organize our library in my classroom. There are so many books and they need to be separated by reading levels so students can choose the proper book to take home and read and night and in class. The bins are colorful, sturdy, look nice, and would allow students to easily grab a book in their proper reading level.

The donations for the project will improve the organization of the books in my classroom.

We have the Accelerated Reading program in our school and it would allow us to separate the books by AR level so students could choose books in their reading level.
