Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school has made tremendous gains over the past twelve years, moving from one of the lowest-performing schools in the area to achieving the honor of being named a California Distinguished School!
We are an example of a community of students, teachers, parents, and staff all working together for academic achievement.
Our hope is that many of our students will be the first generation in their families to go to college!
The majority of my students are English language learners (ELLs) whose families are newcomers to America. They are highly motivated to learn and prosper.
My Project
Going back to school after a summer vacation is one of the most exciting times in a student's life. Will you help me make third grade memorable by providing us with back-to-school materials?
With your help my students will have valuable materials that will make a lasting impact in their education.
The pencil boxes, folders, storage boxes, and book bins will be used to teach students the importance of being organized. My hope is to prepare my students to face the real world by learning to be organized at an early age.
Thank you so much for your considering our project and for caring about my students' lives.
