My Students

This September, I finally "graduated" to fourth grade. My colleagues and I worked all summer long to create the best curriculum for our students. They deserve the best education possible. They are extremely talented, energetic fourth graders, who always seem to put out their best effort in all that they do.

This year's fourth graders live in Manhattan's Chinatown.

They are superstars! Many of them are English language learners and students with disabilities. Many live in single parent homes and receive free or reduced-price lunches. No matter what, they give it their all each and every day!

My Project

Every year students come into 4th grade and have trouble keeping track of their schedule. This project will help 65 4th graders get organized. Fourth graders are getting a little older and need to be responsible and independent. Students will use these planners to write down due dates of projects, nightly homework assignments, non-school days, field trip information and other important dates for all school functions. It's time for fourth grade students to inform themselves and their families about their school life. These planners are amazing because they not only use them for their daily life but can also look for upcoming festivities.
