Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
At the start of the new school year I need organizational materials.
We are a vibrant Special Education High School community with special needs students and I need a planner and note pads to keep track of the activities.
Students 12 to 21 years old and their families live in the Heart of Harlem New York or surrounding neighborhoods. Over half of the student population are English as New Learners (ENLs).
One of our greatest challenges is keeping everything scheduled and in the correct school time.
My goal is to insure every student report and file is completed on time and with accuracy. That is why I need a planner and memo notes to maintain files and report schedules. I also frequently take home school and student related reports to be completed after school hours. These items need to be secured against the weather infiltrating my tote bag and damaging the contents.
My Project
I need memo pads to write comments on reports and information for both students and parents. The day planner is to plan efficiently and effectively taking into account the School Calendar of meetings, holidays and Parent Conferences.
The supplies are necessary to keep documents in order and organized.Our school does not budget for Calendar items such as planners or stock memo pads which have become a necessity to write notes on paper work.
Being able to reference items by labeling file folders is a great way to organize.
From experience organizing at the beginning of the school year leads to a successful experience.
