This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work at an amazing school with amazing students. I have never worked for a school that has created a better community of learners. Relationships are priority and students always strive to do their best work.

My students are great kids who come from all different backgrounds (Title I school) and they deserve the absolute best I can give them!

I have an incredibly diverse group made up of all races, religions, ethnicities, and statuses. Despite being this diverse, our students truly take care of each other and support each other.

My Project

I am passionate about making learning fun for my students. It has been a dream of mine to attend a Get Your Teach On conference because Hope King is so inspiring and amazing at setting the stage to engage for her students. I would love to learn from her and the other amazing educators at the conference.

Attending this conference would make me a better educator because I would learn new techniques and strategies for making school a place where my students look forward to coming everyday.

Get Your Teach On focuses specifically on student engagement and ways to make learning more fun. Engagement is such a crucial part of achieving the goals I have and I look forward to learning from Hope and her team and Get Your Teach On this year!
