My Students
In our classroom, the children rise to the challenge of meeting and exceeding the rigorous demands of the curriculum. Each day the students strive to become fluent readers, capable writers, and develop a sense of science that provides understanding. Learning is fun, and smiles are abundant in our class!
Since our school is Title I, our goal for each student is for them to become successful scientists and readers in school and life.
A strong foundation will provide the stepping stone they need to excel and have opportunities to succeed. Most of my students live in financially assisted housing and receive free lunch. Although they are poor financially, they are rich in heart! The entire school strives to nurture the students with love and knowledge. High expectations are producing results. Students in our school know that education is the key to becoming productive members of society.
My Project
Rigorous standards have my Kindergartners learning at lightning pace. My students are up to the challenge, but these early learners need playful ways to keep their attention. Engaging learning centers & RTI light the way for meaningful learning.
A color changing light table light table & manipulatives will truly engage children through hands-on exploration.
These items will provide opportunities for learning of essential standards in ELA & Math. Manipulatives such as letter tiles, number tiles, blocks, and more brought to life through an eye catching light table will engage even the easiest distracted minds. These items will provide hands-on opportunities to further their understanding concepts, and help build a strong foundation for future success.
