This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials In my project will motivate good writing! Kindergarteners are forming letters and turning those letters into words and words into sentences. These materials will benefit all stages of writing. The students will practice forming their letters every day with their Expo markers on their whiteboards (believe me, they love using markers and erasing their mistakes). Having lines on the boards will help with forming the letters. Next, having fun journals to write their letters, words, and sentences. With these journals, they will also have a place to draw a picture.

Whiteboards and journals will make happy children and that equals happy teachers, parents, and community!

Reading and writing go together. Children love reading the stories they write to their classmates, which helps in building a community in the classroom. Please help in supporting our classroom.
