My Students

I have a group of 22 first graders on our military base. All of my students have one or more parents in the military. This poses some rather difficult situations for my students to face throughout their time in my first grade class. Being a high military school, students are coming and going all the time, the whole year. They are also a very rambunctious, energetic and excited to learn throughout the whole day. I hope that receiving a donation from the community will help inspire my students and show them that people car about their futures and want them to do well.

My Project

My project aims to get students Kindle Fires to use in class to have access to an e-reader. Many of my students do not have access to tablet technology at home and getting them accustomed to this widely used technology will help them to adapt in the future.

By donating to this project you will be helping my students succeed in their ever changing technological world.

Having these in my classroom will give my students access to hundreds of free books on the amazon digital book store. Giving them the experiences they will need to become lifelong learners and successful readers. They will also give access to hundreds of educational apps to help them become independent learners.
