My Students

Hello! Thank you so much for visiting my page. My second grade classroom is an incredible group of students with incredible minds. I am so lucky to be teaching second graders. I have a total of 25 students in my class and enjoy working with them each day. Each student is curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to help each-other and connect with one another.

My students are unique, talented, hard-working, and outgoing eight year olds.These student's first few years of school have been very difficult.

Every day these students have had to face either new expectations, rules, procedures, and learning.

COVID - 19 has impacted these students ability to stay in a comfortable and safe environment. My goal is for them to alway have an adaptable and safe seating arrangement in my classroom.

My Project

Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are given a choice in their seating.

Flexible seating is so important for every person to learn and grow!

During COVID-19, these students have struggled to sit on the same chairs and floor all year long. I want to give my second graders an opportunity to feel comfortable while completing their work. it is so important to me for my

The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The wobble stools will allow students to help get the wiggles out. The comfy floor seats and the beanbag chairs will allow for additional comfortable floor seating options. These items can be easily moved around the entire room and will extremely benefit from our daily literacy and math centers.

I am very excited to see how these seating arrangements can help my students grow!
