I teach a class of amazing third grade students. The school I work at is on a modified calendar. This is a great opportunity for the students to retain more of what they are taught throughout the entire year. They are so smart and always eager to learn more everyday! They are a very active bunch of sixteen students who are always ready to learn and always wanting to experiment with new learning experiences!
My students are always looking for new ways to integrate and encourage learning in our classroom.
They are eager to learn and improve their skills at this important stage of their education.
My students deserve all the materials available so they can have the best learning experience in my classroom. I work with each student on a daily basis to give them the individualized education that they deserve.
My Project
The flexible seating options will give my students an enhanced learning experience! I have seen multiple flexible seating options in other classes and I want my students to have the same opportunities. The wobble chairs and balance balls will allow my students the independence they need to make choices in regards to their learning process. With the different learning levels and distractions of working in a classroom with a lot of peers, my students would love to have flexible seating options to help keep them on task and to have an option that is not as distracting to others!
The seating choices are essential to help me give me students a heightened and more stimulating learning experience that they have a say in!
Art supplies such as white board markers, crayons, and colored pencils are being used daily in a number of different subjects. Students really need the items in order to show success. Some of the other art supplies such as paint brushes, tempura, and paint cups will help our class create some amazing art projects that bring our learning to life through art! Bringing a hands-on art project into subjects like math, language arts, science, and social studies will make the learning experience so much more magical and beneficial in regards to what they retain as well as the real world application.
