Help me give my students a Can Do! Reading Games set, so that they can have a fun and engaging way to work independently or in small groups on literacy mastery.

Amazing! That is the word I would use to describe my students. They are curious about the world they live in and the world they don't. My students are like sponges; they soak up all the information/resources they are exposed to. I feel it is my responsibility to expose them to as much as possible. "You can't be it or dream it if you haven't seen it." My students come from high crime, low socio-economical areas. They are resilient. They leave all of the adult baggage they are exposed to at the door.
Our classroom is a place of peace, learning, exploration, and family.
I want to give my students the tools they need and deserve to reach their full potential. I want to prepare them to become and do what they were born to do.
It takes a village to raise a child. I am reaching out to my village to help support my endeavor.
Thank you in advance!
Picture a classroom that has "fun learning" stations that consist of Literacy games and the students gets to rotate to each station with their team! I want to give my first graders that 21st-century learning environment. My students are naturally curious and love to play. I want to create a fun, stimulating environment, that mimics a playground theme. Meaning, they are entertained and excited about exploring the "Literacy" stations because they are fun!
They won't know they are learning, all they know is that they want to come back to school tomorrow so they can do it all over again!
With the Literacy stations readily available to them, they will have the opportunity to reinforce, and develop important skills needed for mastery. The school environment changes to a place of exploration and fun. It makes children love learning and coming to school.
