Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This has been my first year teaching 4th grade science and social studies with very few supplies. The items I am requesting will help my students learn through more hands-on activities.

By having the requested items, my goal for the next school year is for students to be actively investigating science and social studies lessons, not just reading about them.

My students love to learn but learn faster through doing activities. With these items, my students will be able to do and see experiments in their hands rather than just watching a video with someone else experimenting.

Mrs. Shirey will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 23.
