Help me give my students student planners to help them simplify and organize the many demands that are required of them every day at school.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of our students are recent immigrants from over 20 countries who have been in the country for less than 4 years. My students are some of the hardest working, bravest, and most resilient people that I know. In addition to dealing with the regular stress of being teenagers, my students have to adapt to a new culture, and environment, and learn English all within 4-5 years before they graduate.
For many, college is their dream, but for others just graduating high school will be an even greater challenge because of the crucial time they lost due to Covid.
Students are coming in with even less language, lower literacy skills, and more social and emotional trauma than before.
I am requesting these student planners for my students to teach them that the fruits of success begin with good basic work habits and study skills. At the core are the fundamental skills of planning, organization, preparation, and prioritizing. Many of my students lack these skills because they were never taught. This is why these skills must be introduced and taught early to help them be better prepared for the real world. These planners will be an integral part of their classes. The students will be required to write down their daily homework assignments, plan for upcoming projects, schedule time to study, and review class work on a consistent basis for all of their classes.
By donating to this project students will have access to a simple but extremely necessary tool to help cultivate discipline, responsibility, autonomy, and ownership of learning.
With your help, students will learn that success does not just come from sheer intelligence or natural ability, but rather from a routine of good habits and perseverance over a long period of time.
