My Students

The students in my class come from a wide variety of families and socioeconomic situations. Their early learning experiences vary greatly. Each child in my class has unique needs and learning styles. Their learning styles also vary. Some students learn visually, while others prefer a more hands-on approach.

In order to address these individual needs, our classroom needs flexible seating and additional engaging materials.

Their favorite part of our room are the "wobble stools" we currently have. My students have been more productive and happier since these stools were added to the room. They are excited about adding new options!

My Project

My students will benefit from these new seating options because they will have a chance to choose where they like to work. The floor chairs will allow students to collaborate and spread out more. These colorful and comfy chairs will make learning more interesting and will encourage children to read more.

The new manipulative toys will be used in cooperative building activities and STEM problem solving encounters.

These materials will also help build fine motor skills for my kindergarten students. By sharing these building materials, they will also gain social skills while practicing their speaking and listening skills as well.
