This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have taught in the South Bronx for the past thirteen years. During this time, the demands on students and teachers have been steadily increasing while resources have been decreasing.
Most of the children come from struggling households where education is valued as a way to break the cycle of poverty.
My school understands this and is dedicated to helping all children become future leaders reaching their highest potential to become both successful, productive citizens in their communities and beyond.
My Project
This project is the second part of my Cricut Maker project. in a previous project, I have requested a Cricut Maker for fun projects in the classroom. In addition to the Cricut Maker itself, we need a variety of tools and accessories to make these projects more colorful and creative. These tools and different types of paper will add color to the games, charts, and bulletin boards.
Creative, vibrant projects made with the Cricut will help create a more welcoming, inviting classroom.
