Getting Crafty with Cricut

Help me give my students the ability to create their own craft projects and T Shirts under the guidance of their teacher with the Cricut Air 2 Machine.

My Students

Head Start is such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals. Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds, hold a paintbrush, or potty on the toilet. Our group loves to play outside, learn new games, and dance to a fun tune.

In this class, we build a community around what we have in common and our shared experiences.

We are part of a larger school district that celebrates inclusion. I teach in a center with six Head Start classes, three half-day programs, and three full-day programs. The work we do in this classroom is building relationships, staying with the group, following directions and having fun while we do it. We celebrate the little wins together each day.

My Project

The Cricut Air 2 machine will be used for crafts with my Head Start students. The children (with guidance and supervision from their teacher) will be able to create bulletin boards, helper charts, calendar, menus, and more.

The Cricut Air 2 machine will open the creative doors of the children's minds allowing them to explore the visual arts.

Please help me and my students avoid hours of cutting and tracing patterns. I can do so much more with the time saved by hitting a button! Your generous support is greatly appreciated, and the children will be rewarded. Thank you!
