This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

“Nothing is impossible. The word itself says I’m Possible!” We are a very energetic classroom with a very diverse population. My students have many different characteristics, but one common goal: to be learn and be successful. We spend our day working through challenges and celebrating the successes!

My students are motivated and like to have fun in the classroom!

The classroom is a revolving door with students entering at different times for different subjects. They love to be included and learn how to be successful both in and out of the classroom.

My Project

Have you ever sat on a stiff metal chair for hours? I'm sure you know how challenging it can be! Giving students the opportunity to get comfortable on a bean bag chair will help them in many aspects of their education!

Bean bag chairs will prompt enthusiasm to get comfortable with a great book!

Reading skills are very important and can be applied to all parts of their education. By having a fun and comfortable place to sit, they will be more willing to pick up a book! They can partner read or read on their own. By having a comfortable place to practice their reading skills, they will become more confident readers!
