Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
If I could describe my classroom I would most definitely say, my students are: caring, authentic, rigorous, supportive, engaging and eager to learn new things.
Students in my class have ownership of their own learning.
No matter the obstacles they face outside the class, my students strive to be the best they can be every single day.
A community is essential to taking risks and deeper learning. Taking the time to know my students well, not just as learners, but also as people has helped to create a real sense of belonging in our shared space.
My Project
My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions and they come to school each day ready to learn new ways of learning. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!
My students take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.
By donating to our project, you will give the students a chance to inspire them in using technology to enhance their learning.
My students will be able to utilize their tablets in small group instruction which will optimize their learning. For many of my students having access to technology in the classroom is the only time they have to enhance their learning through research, exploring, and playing educational games. The flexible seating approach is a wonderful way for students to enhance their learning. Flexible seating will provide students the opportunity to have time away from their seat which will enrich and accommodate learning to different learning styles. The tablets and flexible seating will provide my students with a classroom environment full of enrichment while learning in a fun academic way. Truly, my students are my inspiration! Please help give my students the opportunity to learn with technology.
