My Project

Students with disabilities have special needs. Today, more and more students have specific behaviors which require a place in the classroom for their needs to be met which will be located in the calming corner. I plan to add these fidget toys and calming strips to support their social emotional needs. The classroom calming corner allows students to have a safe space to regulate themselves. My calming corner includes books, pillows, drawing supplies and comfortable chairs. In order to update my calming corner, sensory tools are greatly needed. I would also like to provide students with calming strips to use daily and fidget toys as well. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
