This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my students feel comfortable asking if snacks are available and if they can sit in my office for a few minutes to unwind. Reminds me that I have created a safe space for them and that they are all welcome in my office.

Donating snacks and a storage cart to my high school students can improve their focus, behavior, and overall well-being, particularly for those facing food insecurity or who may not have access to regular meals.

My goal is that with the snacks donated, I can help manage hunger for those students who do need to eat all day.
