My Project

I am a 3rd grade teacher in Georgetown, SC. My school is a Title I school where all students receive free breakfast and lunch. What I love about my students is their love for reading. They enjoy small group instruction as well as independent reading.

The Flash Furniture 17 Plastic Backless Stackable Stools Blue that I'm requesting will allow me to gather more students for guided reading instruction that will help them learn strategies to become better readers and how to read for meaning.

The Lakeshore Flex-Space Washable Indoor/Outdoor Cushions will also allow them to enjoy reading in a cozy environment and not be restricted to just reading at their desk during independent reading time.

My goals for this project are to provide students with strategies to help them become better readers and to challenge my high flyers with higher-order thinking skills. What makes my students special, is that they aren't afraid to try new things.
