I am the head of the, "I Love To Read" Month planning group in my school. Over the past few years, we have started a tradition of getting books into the hands of kids. This February, we hope to again present books to every kid in our school.
As a reading teacher, I am a firm believer that the more books kids have access to, the more they will love to read.
During "I Love To Read" Month, all students will have time to come to our "Eagle Book Store" and do some shopping for a new book of their very own. This will be theirs to keep. Building a personal library is essential to becoming an avid reader.
All of the books in this proposal will be given to students, for them to keep. They will get to choose the book they love.
It is my goal to get books in the hands of all the kids in my school.
