Getting Back to the Basics!

My Students

Our students are so talented and creative, yet due to budget restraints, it is so difficult to purchase items that will enhance our art lessons. My students need the basics, pencils, rulers and scissors.

My students are from a small, rural, low income/high poverty school district in South Carolina.

My students face many different challenges, at home and at school. I would love for our students to have just the basic supplies, which we need so desperately. I want my students to be excited about art and look forward to art class and have the supplies they need to create.

My Project

Our cupboards are almost bare. We have very few supplies left. We need some basic materials such as pencils, rulers, scissors, colored pencils, crayons and a new pencil sharpener.

Your donation will help my students have the basic tools needed in art.

Many of my students cannot afford to buy and bring to class items such as rulers, pencils, scissors, colored pencils, and/or crayons. Although, my principal is as generous as she can be, we just do not have the money in the budget to purchase these items. Just the simple things such as these items mean so much to my classes and will make teaching art so much easier.
