This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have students who come from all kinds of backgrounds. They range anywhere from grade levels behind in their education to achieving far above grade level.

They come from troubled and unsafe neighborhoods.

Whatever their backgrounds, they still find the motivation to come to school every day because they know education is the key to their futures. Whether they choose to go to college or a trade school, I will help them to get there.

I want them to be able to reach those expectations that I have for them and they have set for themselves.

My Project

I have students who come from all kinds of backgrounds. They range anywhere from grade levels behind in their education to achieving far above grade level.

They come from troubled and safe neighborhoods as well as dangerous ones.

Some of them come from families that have difficulty providing basic necessities for education. These supplies will help them be prepared for school.

This school year, we have been 100% distance learning. That is the plan for the remainder of the school year as well. As we look ahead to August, our district's goal is to return to 100% in-person learning. These supplies, as simple as paper, markers, pens, and highlighters, will help to make the transition back to the classroom a little easier.

Whatever their background, they still find the motivation to come to school every day because they know education is the key to their future. Whether they choose to go to college or a trade school, I will help them get there.
