This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are simply amazing! They are such polite, caring and kind individuals. They are always willing to help one another whenever they are able. Each one of them want to be successful learners. They deserve to have all of the materials they need to obtain that success!

My Project

Due to having been virtual learners for almost one year, many of my students are currently reading well below grade level. I would love to be able to have books in our classroom that they can actually read with little to no assistance. I want to boost their confidence and make them successful, independent readers who are ready for third grade in the fall. They also love to create projects so I would love to be able to provide them with construction paper so that they may tap into their creative side!
