Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Thomas Edison once said, "Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is to always just try one more time."

I use that message when inspiring my class to have a growth mindset.

Never give up, put in your best work, and always look for the positive outlook. How can you learn and grow from your mistakes rather than looking at the mistakes as just mistakes?

My students become inspired to learn, build, and create through successes, and they learn from failed attempts to better themselves. They are learning and building a successful path through the development of a growth mindset.

My Project

Each of these materials will be used to promote engagement with an interactive focus. The composition books will house our interactive notebooks, creatively built with colored pencils, cutouts, and glue sticks.

Jumping into the realm of creativity using active stylus pens to create, build, and design through technology.

We will use the stylus as a tool while interacting with our classroom iPads.

All of these materials and tools will boost our engagement with a variety of learning styles. This will allow for creative learning, engagement, and a way for us to reference back to what we have learned.
