This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I try to incorporate technology in our class. I know that it is important for students' learning environment as well as motivation.
I teach a wonderful group of first grade scholars.
They are enthusiastic learners so this makes it so much fun for me to teach them. They attend a magnet school for high achievers so part of my job is to help them reach their potential by challenging them academically.
My Project
I am requesting 1 projector.
Our current projector has been slowing deteriorating in quality. Last year, the connection stopped working and the picture went off and on. With the help of my principal, we found a way to make it work but the quality has never been the same. The students often times have a hard time seeing the image clearly. The projector is so important for our class because it allows me to model work and also allows the students to share their work. This is motivating for the students because often times I share their work when they have gone beyond the assignment to challenge themselves.
Your contribution to a new projector for our class would be greatly appreciated.
The students will be able to once again see a clear picture of our work and will be able to share their work with the class with more confidence in knowing their classmates can clearly see what they have produced to share.
