In my class, I strive daily to prepare my students for the world with not only knowledge, but to bestow upon them a zest and passion for lifelong learning. They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet.
They are budding ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs, teachers.
They are our future, and I want to give them a great start to their long, successful careers.
My 7th graders are deeply committed and involved in a schoolwide recycling initiative every year in their science classes. I would like to do some cross-curriculum learning with having the students write argumentative essays on the pros and cons of using recycled water bottles at school and at home. Therefore, we need a charging station to store their Chromebooks for the research and writing necessary to fulfill this project in my class.
Students are excited to not only help clean up the environment and give back to their school and community, but also to further their research and writing skills in a hands-on way that will help them and generations to come.
What a perfect way to help engage a student—hands-on learning and writing skills will go hand in hand with this opportunity. This is our way of giving back to the planet. Thank you so much for whatever help you can offer for our project. We love our DonorsChoose donors! Thank you!
