Help me give my students a chance to get a little dirty! I want to create independent student run centers that engage the learner with hands-on related activities to support the content goals and learning.

My Project

My students had those covid struggles, at home with families doing the best they could under the strain of lockdowns and working from home or having to go to work as an essential worker. These are the kids who were out of school for two years. As their second year of in-person learning is progressing along, I see so much more potential and their desires to learn and unlock the mysteries of science and of our past.

My intention is to create independent, student-centered learning activities that will incorporate their state standards for content (Changes over time), reading (Non Fiction reading) and writing (formative writing), along with hands-on activities for them to engage in to deepen their comprehension.

Hands-on learning becomes their motivation to complete the hard work ahead of them, and to want to achieve even more.
