This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are first graders in an urban setting. I have a good mixture of nationalities in my classroom. Many of the students are learning English as a second language. I also have some with special needs. Although my students are facing many barriers I hold them to the highest possible standards, while making learning fun and engaging.

Our school is committed to challenging students to succeed and grow while offering them the nurturing support they need.

Our school believes that strong relationships between student and teachers will ensure that students' individualized needs are being met. Our school offers a rigorous curriculum with a focus on first-hand experiences that emphasize real-world applications.

My Project

The inflatable ball seats would be used for flexible seating through out the day during stations and instruction. The inflatable ball seats allow my first grade students to move and balance; reducing restlessness and improving focus while they learn!

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

The inflatable ball seats will allow students to calmly release their extra energy while completely activities in the classroom. By supporting our classroom you will help students to stay alert during instruction, during independent work and during group activities.
