I work at a Title I school district located in the beautiful hills of apple orchards. I work with energetic students across 3 grade levels who come into school each day looking for something new to learn. Not only do they like to learn new things, but they also like to take on the role of the teacher and help others learn.
They are a great group of students who come in each day with new stories to share.
They are my inspiration to keep learning and bringing in new strategies and high-interest materials that will help them become a productive citizen in society.
My Project
This would be my first trip to a Get Your Teach On conference. I have heard nothing but how great the experience is when you attend. Learning how to add excitement to learning would help me as the teacher create an environment full of life, fun and laughter. Education has become so overwhelming with assessments that students need to be able to walk into a classroom that can offer something more in the way of learning. I am excited to attend this conference to learn from those who have lived and experienced the joy of education.
I am ready for the professional development opportunity that will transform my classroom.
I am ready to gain knowledge of ideas that will engage and motivate my students. Thank you for your support to help me Get My Teach On!
