This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach third grade at an amazing public school in Mesa, Arizona. My students have a range of abilities. I work with students that struggle academically to students that need enrichment in many subject areas. They are kind, caring, helpful, and driven individuals. I feel so lucky to work with such amazing students!

One of the most important things in my classroom is making learning engaging, memorable, and FUN!

I incorporate the use of technology in my classroom, as well as, stage room transformations to keep my students excited about learning.

My Project

My goal as an educator is to always learn and grow professionally. This conference will help me grow as an educator and equip me with tools to best meet the needs of my students. I will also be given the opportunity to collaborate with other educators from across the country. After the conference I will be able to implement these new strategies in my classroom so that my students are actively engaged and having fun while they learn.

This conference will help me feel empowered, motivated, and prepared to create dynamic lessons that will challenge my students and leave them hungry for more!
