Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

After a year of online learning, my students are struggling with basic reading skills. Due to financial hardships, they do not have books to read or resources at home. I want to give them the tools they need to be successful with basic reading skills at home.

I would like to promote family interaction while allowing students to practice their reading skills by reading books and playing games with their families!

This is a great way to bring families together in a positive way. My students love to read books in class, so I would like for them to share the love of reading with their families and help build a library of books at home.
