My Students

My students are hard working and enthusiastic! They love to learn and love to collaborate. We work in small group very often. These fourth graders love to work in a 21st-century classroom. To create a 21st century classroom, the students need furniture for them to be able to work comfortably on. We need to create a reading nook for students. They learn to take ownership of their learning and what it takes to be successful in the classroom. This becomes paramount to their future success.

My Project

Students in school are eager to move and learn. They are interested in technology and have difficulty sitting down in traditional seating.

There is nothing like curling up with a book from your favorite author in a cozy reading nook.

This bench and pouf will allow the students in my room to cozy up with their favorite book. They will be used to create a reading nook in the classroom which will foster the love of reading. It will also allow students to have a choice about where they are sitting and give them a break from the digital world! This comfortable environment will slow them down and allow them to focus on what they are reading!
