Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is to update and give new fun materials for my students to use in the library. The students love doing puzzles, and we are always looking to add new options.
Puzzles are a great source of community in our library.
Many students work together to help construct puzzles each week, and I love to see them all working together. I believe that the dominos will create a similar partnership with my students.
Other new games to the library will be a great benefit as well. With short times for students to enjoy the library, quick games like cards, Uno and Happy Little Dinosaurs will be a great addition. Students have also asked for a chess board.
