Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are a Title I school, meaning more than 75% of the student population are enrolled in a free and reduced-price lunch program and are from a variety of economic backgrounds. My dancers show up to practice ready and excited to learn; they are all unique and have amazing personalities. As a dance coach to 30 students, I strive every day to provide my students with innovative and exciting learning opportunities. As a dance coach to this group, I look forward to being the facilitator that provides my students with a safe and fun environment where they can express themselves through music and movement.
My goal is to provide my dance team with a bluetooth speaker and equipment so they are able to learn new techniques, boost team spirit, and create memorable dance numbers.
My Project
My dancers are hardworking and creative individuals. They love practicing their art and performing for their friends and family. We started the dance team this year with just 6 team members and we have grown to a group of 20! We need speakers to practice and perform for large crowds.
Help our dance team hit their marks, and express themselves through dance! The small bluetooth speakers will help us for our practice.
At times we set up varied performances, which require simultaneous preparation. The girls separate in to group and then collaborate together. The dancers will use the equipment to stay in shape, for flexibility, and endurance training.
