This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students of the band are a bright, kind, and caring group of students. But living in the heart of Little Havana means that the necessary materials for creating music can be prohibitively expensive. I would love to give them the opportunities to play on quality drumline instruments, but the current drum heads are very worn out and lacking in quality.

This project will help supply the drumline with the drum heads needed to allow the students to sound great and make the most of their time in the band!
