My Project

My students are full of energy, curiosity, and creativity. As middle schoolers, they thrive when learning is active, engaging, and fun. In a classroom where focus, motivation, and movement intersect, I’m always looking for ways to help them channel their energy in positive, productive ways.

This project will bring exciting and interactive tools into our classroom: an electronic dance mat, a Simon jump game mat, and an arcade-style cornhole board set.

These resources will be used as part of our classroom rewards system, brain break stations, and team-building activities. Students will be able to reset and refocus through movement, while also building memory, coordination, and collaboration skills.

The dance mat encourages physical activity and rhythm, making it a favorite reward or energizing transition. The Simon jump mat adds a fun challenge that sharpens memory and quick thinking. The cornhole set brings classic competition with a new twist. It will be perfect for reinforcing taking turns and teamwork.

These tools will help create a classroom environment where students look forward to participation, feel supported, and have more opportunities to shine, both academically and socially.
