My Students
The students at our school are passionate, smart, and delight in the opportunity to express their creativity and ingenuity. They love to explore and innovate through hands-on activities. With your support our school hopes to build a quality musical space to prepare our students as 21st century learners.
These scarves, beanbags, and expanding spheres will add so much to our classroom movement activities!
As an arts teacher, I appreciate any opportunity for my students to think outside the box, and these materials will be an amazing resource for our school. Creativity makes a difference! Help support these incredible kids in North Carolina!
My Project
My kids love to move with music! Dancing, body percussion, and playing games are just a handful of their favorite activities. Not only do they enjoy these experiences, but we use them to learn more about musical terms like dynamics and tempo, express form, and demonstrate how music changes how we experience the world around us.
We need scarves, beanbags, and expanding spheres to help us move with music!
Each of these items will add so much to our classroom activities. Beanbags are a wonderful way to kids to practice rhythm and steady beat skills with passing games and hand-coordination games. The expanding spheres are perfect for expressing dynamics and practicing loud and soft. Our well-worn and fraying scarves will get a much-needed update with this new rainbow set. We use these for everything from dancing to props for musical storytelling.
