Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We need to get our students learning physical education. I would like to use this equipment to get students excited about PE. Many schools are cutting their PE programs. We want to make it a part of our daily routine. We have requested games and activities that will get kids moving. As well as some motivational poster to hang in the classroom.
These activities will help build teamwork among our class.
They will also help encourage them to do physical activities. Especially since COVID, kids are getting outside less.
Getting the body moving helps get the mind moving. Hopefully, this will help strengthen the body and in turn, the mind. The goal is to make physical activity a daily goal that students will want to do.
We have also requested some snacks and fidgets to add to the class store. Students can use earned points to purchase items.
