My Students

It is hard to explain why my students are so special to me. They have an intense willingness to learn, to try new things, and to take care of eachother. Last year, we created such a family oriented classroom together, I will strive to do that with every group of kids.

They melt my heart everyday, I think every single person should have to volunteer in a 3rd grade classroom, because they have sweet souls and radiate happiness (most of the time).

I have learned so much from them.

My Project

I believe 100% that students learn best in an environment where they get to choose where they learn best. I have purchased many different supplies to try and implement flexible seating in my classroom, wobble stools and this bench would totally make flexible seating even more possible for my classroom!

I can just imagine kiddos sitting on the bench, reading and working, or wobbling while they do their math centers.

With the flexible seating that I implemented last year, even my most reluctant learners took control of their learning and made choices to control the way they learn, which was way more productive then them sitting at their desk! The library bench will make our classroom library the place to be!
