This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have a quickly growing Crochet Club at our school that started this year. It started as a small group meeting one day a week. Now there are so many kids, that we three groups meeting three different days a week during recess, with more on a waiting list!

So many kids want to learn this fun crafty skill, that we are quickly running out of donated supplies.

The kind ladies who run this group are trying their best with what they have, but they could definitely use a boost in supplies.

Can you help me help them with crochet hooks and yarn so that any student who wants to join can be welcomed in?
